In the last semester before graduation, Patients Influence’s founder Ivan was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. During his time in and out of treatments, he witnessed the lives of his fellow patients abruptly stop.

Through his personal experiences, he learned about the stigma surrounding cancer care. This includes the physical limitations of the disease as well as “chemo brain” which he was told would limit his potential. Inspired to go beyond all expectations and encourage people facing similar diseases, Ivan went on to achieve a perfect GPA, win a trophy at a national fitness competition, and start his new career working at the pharmaceutical company that saved his life. He then became a Key Opinion Leader (KOL) for Digital Therapeutics just 2.5 years after hearing the magic words, No Evidence of Disease (NED).

Through his work in Digital Health, Ivan helped patients overcome physical and mental challenges alike. The remaining obstacle was financial hardship. That’s when Patients Influence was born, a by-patient, for-patient platform that unveils new earning opportunities for those unfairly affected by disease.
